According to Article 158 of the Constitution, the Judiciary is responsible for hiring just and competent judges to administer justice and address complaints. In order to achieve this great goal, with the measures of Ayatollah Martyr Dr. Beheshti (may God have mercy on him), the University of Judicial Sciences and Administrative Services was established in 1982 as a subsidiary institution of the Judiciary with the aim of training competent judges of the Islamic Republic of Iran, and has so far presented thousands of judges to the country's judicial community. Producing knowledge in the field of Islamic humanities and promoting legal research are other goals of this university.
