Duties of the Vice President for Cultural Affairs
Leading and overseeing the proper implementation of all cultural affairs of the institute at the levels of professors, students, and staff, in accordance with approved decisions, regulations, and bylaws, in collaboration and coordination with other relevant institutions.
Aligning with and implementing the strategic policies of the Supreme Council of the Cultural Revolution and bodies responsible for deepening and expanding Islamic culture and principles in institutions regarding cultural and social issues.
Monitoring the overall cultural, educational, social, and political status of the institute, and conducting necessary studies and research in collaboration with the institute’s Research Vice Presidency to plan and set policies for cultural activities aimed at promoting and deepening Islamic, Iranian, and revolutionary values at all levels of the institute, and submitting reports to the Institute’s Cultural and Social Council.
Establishing greater communication and cooperation with intellectual, cultural, and revolutionary centers, institutes, and institutions.
Planning to develop cultural, political, and ethical education through organizing training classes, seminars, and academic cultural, intellectual, and political gatherings, making optimal use of the capabilities of existing Islamic and revolutionary institutions, and supervising them.
Creating opportunities to encourage institute members to participate in various scientific, political, and cultural arenas of society.
Striving to promote a culture of dialogue, systematic critique, free thinking, and expanding opportunities for university members to engage with scientific, cultural, and political experts.
Managing the content of the Cultural and Social Council by facilitating the approval process of plans, proposing necessary programs, and following up on assigned tasks.
Following up on the communication of decisions, regulations, and bylaws, and informing relevant internal or external units to ensure coordination, supervise their proper implementation, and submit evaluation reports to the Institute’s Cultural and Social Council.
Planning, organizing activities, and proposing the annual budget for the relevant vice presidency in accordance with the institute’s priorities.
