Managing and overseeing the proper implementation of all educational and graduate studies policies, regulations, and processes of the university, in accordance with relevant laws and executive bylaws, by focus on expanding graduate programs.
Planning educational, graduate, and internship affairs in collaboration with relevant units, supervising the proper execution of duties by affiliated units, implementing and evaluating the educational programs and activities of each faculty, and providing necessary reports to the university’s executive board.
Issuing various educational circulars and guidelines for different academic levels.
Monitoring and evaluating the educational performance of students, faculty members, and managers of various units each semester, reporting the results to the university president, and communicating evaluation outcomes to faculty members.
Conducting short-term educational and in-service training programs.
Planning to provide facilities and allocate necessary funds for scientific-educational interactions between the university and religious seminaries, creating a suitable environment for achieving religious science and Islamic sciences.
Planning the university’s educational programs in line with the Vision Document, the Comprehensive Scientific Plan, and regional planning.
Taking steps to develop and establish new bachelor’s, master’s, and doctoral programs to meet the specialized needs of the Judiciary and striving to realize these initiatives.
Striving to conduct empowerment and knowledge-enhancement programs.
Evaluating and revising the content of course syllabi to ensure they are up-to-date, enhance faculty efficiency, enrich content, promote value-oriented education, and provide necessary proposals to the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
Overseeing and evaluating the implementation process of the country’s Comprehensive Scientific Plan at the university in coordination with the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
Preparing guidelines on the preparation and criteria for writing theses and dissertations in graduate programs and issuing defense permissions.
Forming and leading councils, committees, and meetings related to educational and faculty matters.
Determining the admission capacity for active and needed academic disciplines through faculties for inclusion in the portal of the National Organization for Educational Testing.
Planning and supervising the scientific admission and selection of students, especially sponsored students, in compliance with approved educational regulations.
Coordinating and collaborating with other vice presidencies to ensure the proper implementation of university programs.
Performing tasks assigned by the university president.
Subordinate UnitsDuties of the Director of Educational Affairs:Overseeing the proper implementation of educational bylaws and regulations in faculties and affiliated units.
Studying and reviewing educational bylaws and proposing necessary suggestions to the University’s Educational Council.
Preparing and establishing general principles for educational programs, supervising their proper implementation after approval, and reviewing and providing opinions on the university’s educational programs regarding changes or expansions.
Supervising the preparation and receipt of documents related to adjunct professors for concluding teaching contracts.
Coordinating with other managers under the Vice Presidency for Education and university group directors on general educational matters.
Studying and making decisions regarding students’ educational issues in terms of their academic and practical progress.
Reviewing and providing opinions on the establishment of approved new academic disciplines and groups.
Reviewing and providing opinions on designing new academic disciplines and submitting necessary proposals to the Vice Presidency for Education.
Planning educational programs and evaluating students and professors.
Organizing meetings of the Educational Council, preparing agendas and minutes, and communicating approved decisions for implementation.
Organizing meetings of the University’s Transfer and Exchange Commission, preparing agendas and minutes.
Supervising the proper execution of affairs related to graduates, conscription-related matters, registration, and university examinations.
Performing other assigned tasks.
Duties of the Director of Graduate Studies:
Adhering to higher-level documents, including the Judiciary Transformation Plan, Vision Document, Comprehensive Scientific Plan, and national development programs, in the quantitative and qualitative expansion of graduate programs.
Striving to achieve the university’s strategic plan in the field of graduate studies.
Focusing on enhancing the quality of graduate students’ research.
Supervising the educational quality of the university’s graduate programs and preparing reports in this regard.
Overseeing the proper implementation of educational and research bylaws and regulations in graduate studies, as approved by the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology and the university’s decision-making councils, particularly the Graduate Studies Council.
Compiling proposals submitted by the faculties’ Educational-Research Councils regarding the number of graduate student admissions for decision-making.
Preparing the agenda and minutes of the University’s Graduate Studies Council, in accordance with the council’s approved duties in the Comprehensive Management Regulations.
Providing periodic reports on the status of graduate programs and students to relevant authorities.
Planning to enhance the scientific-specialized skills of graduate students by proposing the organization of appropriate courses and workshops, including research methods and the use of electronic resources.
Striving to establish connections with governmental and private organizations and centers to support master’s and doctoral students’ research and directing research toward addressing the Judiciary’s needs.
Facilitating the educational and research processes for graduate students and maximizing the handling of affairs at the faculty level.
Timely and accurate dissemination of information regarding regulations and processes to students and faculty members, utilizing the capabilities of the Vice Presidency for Education and Graduate Studies website and other software.
Supervising the proper conduct of thesis and dissertation defense sessions.
Maintaining continuous communication and constructive interaction with graduate students to address their issues and concerns.
Supervising matters related to the admission of outstanding talent students, curriculum planning, and other graduate studies affairs.
Performing other assigned tasks.
Duties of the Director of Internship Affairs
Formulating executive programs, coordinating, supervising, and evaluating matters related to the training of judicial interns in accordance with approved programs and regulations.
Supervising the conduct of scientific tests and evaluations and announcing results.
Overseeing the internship and workshop records of judicial interns to confirm the completion of their training period.
Collaborating and interacting with colleagues in the training departments of provincial judiciaries.
Identifying the educational needs of judicial interns.
Designing training courses for judicial interns and submitting them to the Judicial Interns’ Training Council for approval.
Utilizing information and communication technology tools and applications in educational affairs and supporting their development.
Preparing, drafting, and reviewing educational regulations and proposing amendments or supplements for approval by the Judicial Interns’ Training Council.
Reviewing and approving the educational calendar of provinces based on established priorities and issuing permits for conducting training courses.
Approving the list of courts and prosecutor’s offices for assigning interns.
Responding to inquiries regarding the academic and educational status of interns.
Drafting regulations on the engagement of professors and submitting them to the Judicial Interns’ Training Council for approval, issuing teaching permits, and notifying professors.
Proposing the establishment or dissolution of judicial internship training units across the country or the implementation of courses by scientific, religious, or academic institutions.
Determining the duration and location of judicial internships, requesting the issuance of official appointments for interns, and reviewing requests for delays in starting the course, long-term leaves, or transfers in accordance with regulations.
Implementing cultural and extracurricular activities for judicial interns and coordinating scientific-recreational camps for them.
Organizing the oath-taking ceremony for judicial interns.
Approving certificates issued by provincial training departments, responding to inquiries, and issuing required educational certificates.
Forming and holding meetings of the Judicial Interns’ Training Council.
Preparing and submitting periodic and ad-hoc performance reports to the Vice President for Education and Graduate Studies.

Duties of the Director of Virtual and Open Education
Identifying and providing information and communication technology tools and applications to develop and draft educational programs.
Establishing communication with other university departments, governmental, and non-governmental centers to assess educational needs and determine the type and curriculum of virtual training courses.
Engaging university faculty members and other instructors to conduct virtual training courses.
Supervising the implementation of regulations for virtual and open education programs in accordance with the bylaws of the Ministry of Science, Research, and Technology.
Monitoring and ensuring quality control in the production of course content and all stages of implementing open and virtual education programs.
Preparing the annual educational calendar for electronic and open education.
Evaluating and determining the effectiveness of training courses based on established indicators to identify strengths, weaknesses, and improve the educational process.
Launching short-term training programs.
Establishing electronic education disciplines.
Creating conditions for the establishment of a Faculty of Electronic Education.
Preparing and developing programs necessary for launching open education initiatives.
Holding orientation and training sessions for professors to familiarize them with electronic content production regulations and communicating course content preparation standards to them.
Identifying and selecting external centers for producing electronic course content.
Planning and conducting specialized short-term in-person or virtual training courses for professors, managers, and experts to enhance their ability to manage, develop, and deliver electronic content.
Facilitating the signing of memoranda of understanding for electronic content production with universities and educational centers.
Participating in meetings and providing proposals and solutions.
Offering specialized workshops tailored to the needs of the Judiciary.
Supervising the preparation and issuance of certificates/diplomas for open/virtual education programs.
Preparing statistics and information and submitting reports.
Updating the website of the Virtual and Open Education Department.
