Dr. Homayoun Mafi is a full professor at the University of Judicial Sciences and Administrative Services and attorney-at-law. He earned his bacheler's degree in judicial law from the University of Shahid Beheshti,Tehran, Iran in 1987. He completed his master degree in the European and comparative law in the University of Maastricht, Maastricht, the Netherlands in 1995 with a concentration in international trade law. In October 1999 he successfully attained his PHD in international trade law from Catholic University of Nijmegen , Nijmegen, the Netherlands. A part of his PhD dissertation research study has been done in the Library of Congress and College of William and Mary in the United States of America. At present, he is a member of the scientific board of the University of Judicial Sciences and Administrative Services. He teaches courses on private international law, international trade law, international arbitration, Letters of credit and bank guarantees and legal texts. He has published five books and many articles in national and international reviews. He is also a recipient of the best researcher award in 2014. He is on the editorial board of the Mazandaran University Comparative Research Journal. |
